The whale was in the water
and the water was over a wide, smooth stone
and the stone was on the back of an angel
and the angel on a rock
and the rock was in the wind
from Memory of Forgetfulness, Mahmoud Darwish
'And the Rock Hangs in the Wind', inspired by Darwish's poem, seeks to reflect the processes of creation, disintegration and rebirth. Situations that occur frequently during our lives, and stimulate the desire to continue creating and being created anew.
